Advanced Articulation with the SEED Action System
This HGCE 1/144 Z'Gok is equipped with the "SEED action system," designed to allow for highly dynamic poses full of movement. This system enables the recreation of the bellows of the arms and legs, as well as the large, fluid movements of the abdomen, giving the kit a lifelike quality that enhances its display value.
Customizable Features
The MRX-010 Psycho Gundam Mk-II (also known as the Psyco Gundam Mk-II) is a transformable mobile armor that appears in Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam and its sequel, Mobile Suit Gundam ZZ. It was piloted initially by Titans' Rosamia Badam and later by Neo Zeon's Ple Two.
The kit features a completely new mold designed to resemble the Psycho Gundam Mk-II in 1/144 scale. Just like in the anime, this mobile armor is able to transform into a mobile fortress mode without the need to change parts.
The MRX-010 Psycho Gundam Mk-II was an upgrade on the original MRX-009 Psycho Gundam. It also had a psycommu and psycho-control system, which allowed its pilot, a Newtype or Cyber Newtype, to control this gigantic mobile weapon with just their thoughts. It also carried over the Minovsky craft system for atmospheric flying and the capability to change into a "Mobile Fortress" mode from its predecessor. Even though the Psycho Gundam Mk-II's fusion reactor could only generate slightly more than half of what the Psyco Gundam could, it was nonetheless more lethal and energy-efficient, and it had more weapons with higher power ratings.
The Psycho Gundam Mk-II shared the same three Scattering Mega Beam Cannons as the Psycho Gundam, along with Beam Cannons installed on the fingers and Small Mega Beam Cannons put on the skull. It also had 20 Mega Beam Cannons scattered across its torso, which allowed it to attack targets in every direction. Equally hazardous in close quarters, its forearms also carried Wired Psycommu Beam Swords, which were wire-guided and controlled by the unit's psycommu technology. Along with its own beam weapons, the Psycho Gundam Mk-II was also equipped with a set of Reflector Bits, which it used to deflect and divert incoming enemy beam weapons fire as well as to reroute its own beam weapons fire to targets that were out of sight.
The Psycho Gundam Mk-II also featured a detachable head unit just like he MSN-02 Zeong, allowing it to function separately in the event that its main body unit was destroyed.
The Murasame Newtype Lab persisted in its research and produced the even more potent MRX-010 Psycho Gundam Mk-II in spite of the destruction of the MRX-009 Psycho Gundam. The Psycho Gundam Mk-II was a far deadlier opponent for MSZ-006 Zeta Gundam and its rider Kamille Bidan than the first Psycho Gundam. It was flown by the strong but unstable Cyber Newtype Rosamia Badam. During a mission to stop Axis in the late stages of Gryps Conflict, Kamille was able to critically damage the Psycho Gundam Mk-II, killing its pilot in the process.
Neo Zeon soldiers recovered the Psycho Gundam Mk-II's wreckage and reconstructed it in U.C. 0088. It was momentarily energized while in transit by the proximity of Newtype Elpeo Ple. Afterwards, Ple Two, one of their own Cyber Newtype pilots, flew it in their battle against the AEUG. But Ple Two managed to escape by using the detachable head unit, and after a protracted battle in the aftermath of the Dublin Colony Drop, it was ultimately destroyed by the MSZ-010 ZZ Gundam.
